Storage Features
Another fantastic feature of this model is that you can purchase just the wallbed unit itself or the bed frame along with a variety of other pieces that lock together to create custom furniture combinations. There are two different combinations shown in the photos on our website including two twin Barringtons with a cabinet and drawers added between for storage, or a larger sized bed with shelving units built into each side. The added furniture upgrades make the Barrington an excellent place to store clothing whether you’re using the drawers or cabinet for closet space. You can also specify other features you’d like including electrical outlets, USB ports, additional shelving, or glass-front cabinet doors.
If you don’t need clothing storage and would prefer double bookshelves, no problem! We can also customize the Barrington to have a full bookcase on each side or even custom lighting to spotlight artwork or other displays.

While the Barrington fold-down modern Murphy bed on our website is shown in a dark wood finish, there are actually nine different finishes you can choose from for this particular model! From white to gray and dark woods to light woods, we offer many stylish options to ensure that this beautiful and functional piece of furniture compliments any room and design style from farmhouse to eclectic. The Barrington Murphy bed is made with a special safety feature called a locking leg mechanism. This keeps the wallbed in an upright and locked position when not in use, guaranteeing it does not come crashing down from the wall and injuring someone in the process. It is simple, lightweight, and easy to use.
